Good for the price. Very convenient to the station-5minute walk. Best point about this motel- close to transport- is also its worst point. Noise from the road and rail can disturb sleep. Very old style. Even had real keys. Facilities in roomsgood.

An inexpensive stop over but don’t stay more than one night. Room was noisy with traffic noise and the interior needs updating. Check in was easy and friendly and the location with walking distance to town was close. Bed was super hard and new pillows are a must but the bath towels were excellent.

As others have said a very old and poorly kept cheap motel. Clearly owners are attempting to make it comfortable, but it’s rather old and dilapidated and needs some serious renovations. Tap in the bathroom leaks, the shower was poor, Aircon old and poor quality, and lots of old broken timber. Some positives include the TV was fine, it’s a great location walking distance to cafe, shops and pub in Blackheath, and the price is right. It’s not terrible, but only ok if looking for something cheap. I left a day early. 2.5 stars.

Very basic motel. Reasonably clean. Broken smoke alarm and copper pipe running exposed through shower. Not good for little ones touching it. Could get burnt. Milk given in a little jug so had no idea if it was still in date. Fridge was very unstable. I wouldn’t stay there again.

It was a very easy walk from the train and the owners/managers were kind and helped me book cars to my hike. I didnt spend much time in the room except to sleep but it was clean and excellent for the price.
