This is an old building so don’t expect perfection. Minor water damage in the bathroom but really who cares. The B&B is on the third floor and the elevator is really just a freight elevator, be prepared to climb stairs. The rooms are small but really all you need. The real high point is location. You are right in the heart of Florence.

The room is reasonable, but the bed is not very comfortable. It was tidy and had enough space to accommodate two large suitcases and one carry-on, just as we had with us on our trip. The bathroom has an unpleasant smell, possibly due to the age of the building, which was renovated to accommodate the B&B, including adaptations to the plumbing system. Additionally, the shower allows water to splash all over the shower area, which makes bathing less comfortable. Overall, the room meets basic needs, but it would benefit from renovation, particularly the bathroom. However, considering the price, the room offers good value for money. The location is also excellent, which is a significant advantage. On the positive side, the reception staff were very friendly, attentive, and helpful, which made our stay more pleasant.

Had a fantastic stay at La Torre dei Salterelli! The room felt luxurious and was well equipped with great amenities, including a large television, air conditioning and fan, mini fridge, coffee machine, and kettle. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location was unbeatable, right in the city centre next to the Ponte Vecchio. Excellent value for money - I would definitely stay here again.
