Staff are very friendly and bartenders can make a great Bloody and a Martini!
Food at the restaurant was just, “ok.” Walleye cakes have too much filler and no flavor. Pork Belly was delicious, love the blackened on the veggies.
If you’re looking for space, don’t book a, “Guest Room.” I had a bigger room at a boutique hotel in New York for the price. No room for a desk in there, which is something I needed. If I would have known, I would have booked elsewhere, especially for the price.
No coffee in the room, after I asked front desk twice. They did have a fridge and microwave, which was nice. No safe in room.
The “Lodge” closes at 9pm and opens the next day at 9am, so you need to plan accordingly.
I travel to North Shore regularly for different events. I will be looking elsewhere for accommodations.
