This is an old country house in a beautiful location. Only 20 minutes by very regular metro from the city centre- the station is literally next to the house so very easy to get to. Our first room was very small and not as shown on booking but staff were very helpful and changed to a much nicer room. Breakfast was good but finished promptly at 9am. Beautiful terrace at the front ,looking down the lawn, with super comfortable seats to relax in the sun.

Why not stay at a castle?

One advantage of having a petty aristocracy is lots of castles around. This 1800s castle and grounds has been converted into a convention center and hotel. The rooms (in t the servants quarters) were clean and comfortable (with a real double bed!) but somewhat dated, the prize is the breakfast in the main house.

Fantastik personal, rent men något slitet rum. Begränsat utbud i restaurang och även frukostbuffe men väldigt fina råvaror,vällagat och väldigt gott. Något begränsat vad man kunde hitta på på kvällen. Bar saknas, enda alternativet är att boka bord i restaurangen. Tyvärr var bastun stängd, och sällskapsrummet stängde de tidigt på kvällen. Men på hela taget väldigt mysigt miljö, trevlig personal och god och vällagad mat.
