Very difficult to find mainly bad Google maps navigation. Only one block off main road but map showed around and around thru old medieval neighborhood. I had rental car and had to drive thru wrong street took us 45 minutes to get to hotel after we got into the city. The location was very central. Other than Google map it was fine.

Hotel was situated in quiet area within easy walking distance to shops restaurants and main attractions.The staff were helpful and friendly particularly the lady in the breakfast room. Breakfast was good.Hotel appeared to have been recently renovatedcand only issue in my room was a lack of lighting in bathroom over vanity mirror. Would recommend and stay again

Our room was small but very comfortable with good quiet air con Staff very pleasant and helpful 24hrs Did not sample breakfast Parking very tricky and expensive (a small discount if you get your parking tkt scanned at hotel) most hotels do not have parking within Avignon walls and car access difficult in one way systems and v narrow streets Therefore walking with luggage to nearest car park (5-10min) a given

Hotel Medieval was a delight. We loved it! The value for the money is incredible. The location is perfect. Loved our room. The staff is excellent. Everything is very welcoming, from walking into the front door to the carafes of water to the room itself. You really feel like you are in the heart of an old city, and this small hotel is lovely. I loved opening the windows and looking over the roof tops to the Palace area. We could see the top of the cathedral. We were not surprised to find out that it had been a Cardinal's home/place hundreds of years ago. The staff was exceptional. Helping us with parking options before we got there and making sure everything was OK every time we walked in and out the door. They also recommended a quiet square about 2 blooks away for dinner. We had the best meal we had in 3 weeks in France and Italy there, and we went back the next night to another great restaurant in that square. Highly, highly recommend!

The hotel has no parking and sits in a restricted access zone with electronic bollards which if the staff advised customers in advance it would cause much less stress. Plus one car parking garage is 400metres but over old cobbled streets wheres another is 300metres with flat well maintained surfaces ( for luggage transport) The hotel is in an excellent central and quiet street . The staff were in general very helpful and the hotel internally and rooms were very modern and comfortable. Breakfast is somewhat limited and depends what time of the morning you wish to eat. We enjoyed our stay.
