4/10
Just checked out of room 331 after a night of very little sleep. The ac unit rattled, banged, and whistled all night, regardless of what setting it was on, and it provided inconsistent cooling. The front desk was absolutely no help. When the problem was brought up to them she merely said "Yeah we've been having troubles with just that room. First it was the heat and now it is the AC." So there is a known issue with a room but they continue to rent it out and offer no remorse or apology for their faulty equipment. Essentially we received the polite version of "not my f***ing problem." At that point I had no energy to deal with more brush offs and declined to mention the long black/brown hair on my "clean" towels.
All I wanted was a decent night of sleep before attending the funeral that I was in town for.
This was one of the better hotels in Marietta. The operative word, of course, being "was." Common sense and decent service are not to be found at this hotel. We thought we would save a little money by staying here. I highly suggest going to the Hampton Inn instead as the building may be a bit older but the service is always good.
