The room was way cleaner and more beautiful than the outside look let us think. We had enough room, it was well located, near the beach and the restaurants. We enjoyed our stay. The A/C was a bit noisy, but very efficient so we just had to turn it on for a few minutes and we were ok for the night.

I have to say as we pulled up to this small hotel, I thought I’d made a bad booking, but the place was surprisingly clean and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and quiet renovated. This was the perfect spot to spend the night and I would stay here again. Very clean.

We were aware of the Skylite Motel from past visits to family in Parksville. But when an urgent trip was required, it became the accomodation of last resort on one of the busiest weekends of the year in this community. And it was a pleasant surprise. Comfy beds. Quiet surroundings. Helpful staff. Although it was a difficult trip, the Skylite was a bright spot.
