The room was spacious and clean. The bed was really comfortable. The staff were very nice and accommodating. We, including our dog were very happy and comfortable during our stay. Will definitely book here again if we decide to return to Parksville sometime in the future.

One of the best stays we have had in a very long time !! Superb room with fantastic facilities -- staff were excellent and outdoor lounging area made it perfect. Being able to bring along our small pet dog was the icing on the cake !!! We will be back :)

Staff Arman is friendly young man - goes beyond yo help you out. The room is newly renovated so super clean and very useful kitchen for any need for a quick meal. Air cons works really well. Overall super positive experience, would stay again. Don’t forget the free mini golf game across the street. Seniors enjoyed it!!!

Check in was very easy. The room was clean with big comfy bed, lovely shower and huge white fluffy towels. The room had a coffee machine but also toaster and kettle in the cupboard with loads more pods etc in reception if all those in the room were used. The only thing to be aware of is as we had used a credit card to book but then paid on arrival we noticed it had been charged twice. On querying we were told that one of the payments was a security deposit and would be refunded once the room had been cleaned on departure. The person on reception was very helpful in explaining this and true to their word one of the payments was refunded by lunchtime on the day of departure. Would recommend this hotel.

Very nicely renovated motel, our room was very spacious, the staff is helpful and hard working. The kitchen could use a few more items like a toaster, but they did have one we were able to borrow from the lobby. Free mini golf was a nice bonus too. I highly recommend staying here.

The family suit was very spacious. Check in was quick and easy and the property was very dog friendly. We enjoyed the free mini golf and being so close to the Beach. The room amenities were very basic. No regular coffee, weird toilet paper. No low lighting/lamps only very bright overhead highlighting. Also, so water bottle fill station onsite. Overall, a great value in Parksville if you aren’t too caught up in the small details.

Pros: staff were very friendly and accommodated early check-in. Kids loved the free mini golf. Cons: we booked a non-smoking room and the room had a heavy smoke/musty smell. Our child’s feet were very dirty after crawling on the floor for a few minutes. We bought cleaning wipes and air freshener to use to be comfortable for the night. Would not recommend for families staying with young children.

The room was newly renovated, but was not clean. No replenishment of supplies, towels, room cleaning or making of beds. They took our money for a four night stay and disapeared. We asked at the desk why cleaning wasn't done in our room after the first night and they informed us that this was a "Family Run" hotel and mostly "Family" stayed it this hotel and they are all aware of their cleaning policies. I told him that I am not family, but expected better for the cost of the room. I "requested" cleaning for the rest of our stay. They cleaned the room (but not the bathroom as per photo) and left us fresh towels the next day. The following day, no cleaning was done. No staff attempted to do anything in our room. As well the guy at the check in counter on the day we arrived had such strong body odor I had to stad 3 feet back from the desk as I was checking in. I would not recommend this Motel to anyone by FAMILY MEMBERS of the owner.

The staff were super friendly and responsive and the room was immaculately clean. We are seniors and my husband has mobility challenges, and we thoroughly enjoyed the height and comfort of the king size platform bed and the beautiful, roomy walk in rain shower. Wish I could have brought both home with us! The toilet is low if you have mobility issues and don't forget your hairdryer (we did) because there isn't one in the room. A few other tweaks would be nice to have - a coat rack on the wall for hanging clothes and lights on both sides of the bed (instead of just one) would be helpful additions. But there are plenty of drawers and the room is spacious and comfortable with a with a convenient kitchenette and fantastic location. We definitely recommend and will gladly stay there again.
