The property is in a semi-industrial area. The neighbourhood is reasonably quiet but rowdy guests are not controlled. Much noise on the main floor outside smoking area which adjacent to rooms. Drinking and laughing well into the evening hours. Breakfast was average quality

… Ich drücke wirklich alle meine Daumen. MCS

Low cost, no frills, but clean

A low cost but clean room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location for my trip and it will be a go to place when im in the area. For the price, its great. To be fair, the only complaint i would have is that the pillows are not comfortable. Incredibly minor and hardly worth mentioning.

Hotel Arheileger Hof, Darmstadt

Overall the hotel was clean and adequate, if a little basic. But location is not great for amenities in local area or shops/supermarkets. Very convenient for train station 3 minutes walk away.

very basic room

I thought it was a normal 3 star hotel based on information on expedia and pictures on the website, but it was much more basic. Friendly and helpful hotel staff, but it is not really a hotel, more like a hostel

Basic hotel, close to S-bahn station

Rather basic hotel, but clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The breakfast was quite simple (bread, cheese, ham, eggs, sausages) but served its purpose well. The hotel is situated less than 10 minutes walking distance from Arheilgen S-bahn station, with connections to Darmstadt and Frankfurt. However, most restaurants and shops are in central Arheilgen, to which it is a bit further to walk.

Early check in when room was cleaned

It was so nice of the staff to get our room cleaned promptly for an early check in. They also helped with directions to store and were very personable. It's off the beaten path, but quite at night. Decent breakfast.

Not really Darmstadt.

Went to Darmstadt to watch a bundesliga game. The hotel isn't in central Darmstadt but is in an industrial area in a suburb north of the city. It was quiet and the breakfast was fine but was a pain to get to and from. Not ideal if you don't have a car with you.

2/10 Poor

Gute Parkplatzsituation. Zum Übernachten für eine Nacht vollkommen ausreichend.
