We stayed at the Hotel Coronation for five nights in May 2026. The location is awesome! One minutes walk to Town Hall and the QVB, five minutes walk to Hyde Park. Great bar on the ground floor. Our room was great value for the location and was spotlessly clean. Travis on front desk was incredibly helpful and friendly. Will happily stay here again next time we visit Sydney.

Our room was a snall triple, adequate for our needs as busy tourists who who out sightseeing. No lounge or seperate seating areas, but if you can handle close quarters, a great place for the price. Good AC, tea & coffee making facilities, the room was serviced daily.. The Coronation is close to rail & light rail transport (within 500 metres), a Big W store for supplies, etc. Tje bistro offer nightly specials & discounts (food & drinks) for guests using their accomodation.

The location was excellent. The hotel is attached to a restaurant/bar and isn't like a standard hotel. The room was small but comfortable. There was a manager on site from 8-5, but before and after that, we were on our own. There is shopping of every kind within a block or two, and plenty of restaurants. We loved the location and for that reason alone would recommend this hotel.
