8/10 Very good

Friendly staff and well sighted for the Centre of Amsterdam. Decor felt a bit dated and the hotel could have benefited from air conditioning. Also the hotel might be unsuitable for persons having difficulty with stairs.

Room was in good condition, loads of steep stairs but the building is 400+ years old. Great location, friendly staff. Shower was abit hit and miss other than that, great place to stay.

Good location, easy to find, lots of shops and restaurants near by. Reasonable place to stay for sure. But lots of stairs to access rooms.

Nice hotel located close to everything you need or want to see. The staff deserve a score higher than 5 stars. They were helpful and always were happy to see their customers.

Our stay suited our needs perfectly. And was a good walking distant from the attractions we were visiting. The hotel also provided a bike rental service.

6/10 Good

Great location, restaurants, canals, tram stop all right there! We had the 4th floor twin bed - super, super small (+ no elevator). Staff were fantastic though, and despite the TINY room, super comfy beds
Verified review

8/10 Very good

Comfortable bed and decent shower. Noisy night with outside late night noise and upstairs hotel neighbours. Otherwise all we needed for a pit stop in the city.

Hotel is in a great location, literally right around the corner from everything. Room was small but what more do you need for somewhere to sleep. Towels renewed and bed made daily. My only issue would be it’s in need of decoration, just a quick lick of paint and a kettle with tea/coffee provided in the room instead of having to go all the way downstairs as those stairs are killer! Guy at reception was really friendly and welcoming, got a greeting each time we entered and left the building. I would recommend a stay there.

A pleasant stay at the hotel ,it is handy for lots of shops, cafes and bars. The hotel is very clean and tidy, bright decor ,nice bathroom.Room was on the 4th floor lots of steps to climb, will definitely book this hotel when visiting Amsterdam again next year, will request a room on a lower level.

Room was great, but 5 floors up, you earned the bed. Well worth the climb for the room. Clean, great shower and bath. Good quality mattress
