Great hotel, very friendly staff, convenient location with a restaurant just below (great food). The bus is easy to take from the train station and then it’s a short walk. Note, Google Maps will take you to a very steep staircase to reach the hotel but you can also follow the road to the right and go left around the bend (slightly uphill). Note there is no phone in the room and nobody at reception after 8 pm. Breakfast was in the restaurant below - nice spread of cheese, yogurt, fruits, muesli, eggs, croissants, breads (but no toaster) and more!

Hotel Arte was exactly what we needed during our stay in Moritz. It had a great restaurant onsite, with Italian and other items on the menu. We loved the view from our window, not able to see much of the lake, but still a decent view. There’s a church bell nearby, which we enjoyed hearing.

I feel like the pictures are very flattering for this hotel. Besides the breakfast area it’s quite modern and bland. The porch photos also make it seem like you have a nice view - I had a view of an alley way… it’s well located and comfortable though.

Absolutely loved this gem of a hotel in St Moritz. Reception staff were great from the minute we walked in, making us feel welcome and providing us with lots of advice on the local area. We were helped by Francesca and a man whose name we did not get unfortunately. Our room decor was ‘quirky’ but very clean and the beds were very comfortable, we slept very well. Breakfast at this hotel is wonderful. Great good choices and a better than average coffee machine. Lovely atmosphere that meant we spent a long time over our breakfast. Top tip that we only discovered too late. If you are arriving by train- Head left out of the train station for the escalator to help alleviate some of the hill walking! We would love to come and stay at this hotel again and thoroughly recommend it.

I want to keep this hotel all to myself, so I’m not going to recommend it, but it is amazing and perfect, and the front staff were incredibly helpful, and the breakfast was perfect, and the parking garage is super convenient, and it is literally in the heart of town. The hotel is conveniently located in the center of town and very short walk to the ski lift. The staff was nice and breakfast was pretty good. For the price it’s a nice hotel in a very expensive town.

The hotel was clean and the rooms were modern and the location was excellent. The hotel building itself was old and had a small functional lobby with no real room service option. There was no phone in the room. That being said the staff was super helpful and pleasant and we did not have any complaints with our stay. It was a budget hotel for a city like st Moritz but if budget is the motivation then this is a great value hotel. PS the breakfast was excellent and great value for 15 CHF.

It was an older hotel and very nice with the remodel. It was expensive but a good price for the area. Great location and close to the ski-lift and restaurants/shops. Be prepared to walk hills and steps and if you’re coming from the train station, get a taxi if you have luggage!
