Staff is helpful, place is pretty clean and I appreciate the location and included breakfast. Sheets, pillows, blankets and towels were hostel quality. Price was right and bed was pretty comfortable.

6/10 Good

For the price it's a good deal. Location is good, rooms are simple but OK. Breakfast is good for the price and the staff is helpful and professional. Only issue is you get more confort and services in nearby hôtels for the same prices.

The location is the best reason to stay here. It is close to so many things and has easy access to transportation. The rooms are bare bones but they are quiet and clean. The breakfast is great as well.

We enjoyed staying at the Chestnut Residence for our stay in Toronto. It is conveniently located near most attractions and the breakfast was a generous buffet with some difference every morning. We highly recommend.

6/10 Good

The room is very outdated, especially the bathroom. The staff were helpful & quick to address any issues. The breakfast was good, with a selection of hot food. The location is excellent. However for the price we paid, I think the room was too expensive. You are mainly paying for the location.

This a good place to be near downtown Toronto. I would stay again. The breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful. This is college residence during the school year.
