Hotel was clean and very pretty area. River out back to sit by was nice. Check in wasn’t the best. No explanation of anything in the hotel because they were on the phone and just pointed where to go instead of asking me to wait or putting the call on hold. Not a new hotel but charming and clean. The hotel, while recently updated was awful. I wish i would have taken a picture of the jacuzzi tub - the surround looked liked it havd never been cleaned correctly and was absolutely disgusting to look at - needless to say we didnt use it and left the next morning to go to a better hotel. The reviews are a sham - this place is terrible (maybe if the actually remodelled everything and spent more $ on that instead of the landscaping, i wouldnt be writing this. Buyer beware!!!!!

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was basic but good, they have hotel waffles (which I think is a win). We reserved a king bed but got two queens which was ok. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because it said there was guest laundry, and I assume that meant I could wash my laundry myself but that was not the case. However, they did offer to wash my laundry in the morning which I didn't have done.
