8/10 Very good

Very old huge historical house in centre of Corte. Great location just off the main high street. Easy to walk to shops, restaurants and upto the Citadel. Not your traditional setup hotel, very old and qwerky, but that added to its charm. Our room was on ground floor. It was clean, appeared to be a newish well appointed shower room. Good comfy bed, air con, fridge, kettle etc. Extensive buffet style breakfast was served on first floor by our lady host. There appeared to be private carparking behind hotel or we were offered a secure storage for our motorbike. This may be needed when the area is more busy in summer ,but at the start of October the town is not so busy and we were fine parking bike on wide pavement outside hotel. Ideal location for exploring town and surrounding area. Merci beaucoup x

Very nice and basic hotel. Great location. Staff super helpful and gave us great restaurant recommendations. Parking offsite but not terribly expensive. Nice breakfast.

I loved this hotel. After an initial small mixup about the shuttle from the train station, the lovely staff could not have been more accommodating. They were extremely gracious and welcoming. The hotel was in a perfect location to walk to the main sights, restaurants and shopping streets. I had a tiny balcony which was perfect for a late afternoon break. The room was very clean and I appreciated the kettle and coffee and tea facilities. Breakfast was very nice and the shuttle back to the train station was excellent. I wish I could have stayed longer.

At the Duc de Padoue, the team really cares about their customers’ well being. They go out of their way to help. This includes organizing transport - even beyond Corte. The hotel is walkable from the train station and central to all the sights. Restaurant recommendation was super. The room was renovated and spacious. The breakfast great. Can’t say enough positive about the hotel and its staff. Stay here. Merci Martha et Agnes.

Dejligt centralt hotel
