Very friendly host - Toni - and perfect room set up. A few steps outside of the Silver gate to old Split, so a perfect spot for exploring. Also really close to both bus stations so we could explore using both the Arriva andorr local buses. Would definitely stop there again.

Toni was incredible. Contacted us before hand and set us up with a driver from the airport. Met us at the door and helped carry my partners bag up the stairs. Room was excellent and the balcony looks over the silver gate at the palace. Location doesn't get better. Vouchers for breakfast brought us an excellent meal. If we swing by Split again, we will definitely come back.

I highly recommend La Porta Luxury Rooms to anyone visiting Split. Its location is absolutely perfect—close to everything while still offering a comfortable and relaxing stay. The hotel was spotless, and the level of cleanliness exceeded our expectations. What truly made our experience exceptional was the outstanding service we received from Tony, who manages the property. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and made us feel genuinely welcome. Exceptional customer service is hard to find these days, and Tony truly sets the standard. We had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to return. Thank you for making our visit so memorable!

This is a lovely guesthouse, and Toni the manager was wonderful. Good location for walking the town. Rooms clean and well appointed. Biggest issue is no elevator and you must climb 6 flights of stairs to get to the La Porta floor. If you have ANY mobility issues, this is not the place for you. The Hotels.com site says it has laundry facilities but it does not. Breakfast vouchers for a great restaurant in the old town.

The location was the best. Close to the local market and the palace entrance. It was very close to ferry and shuttle bus terminal. The communication with the host was very easy and prompt in response. The room is on slightly smaller end, but it didn't bother me at all. Perfect place for short stays in Split.

The location is excellent, right in front of the Silver Gate and only about a five-minute walk from the bus terminal for the airport. The room was clean and comfortable. Toni was very kind and kept in touch with me even before my stay. He also let me know as soon as the room was ready after cleaning, which was very helpful. The only drawback is that the room is on the fourth floor and there is no elevator, so guests with heavy luggage or mobility difficulties should keep this in mind. However, Toni is happy to help with your luggage. Other than that, I had no problems at all and had a very pleasant stay!

Great location and a great place to stay

This is a great place to stay. It’s in a great location. We had a room with a balcony and a view over the sea and Diocletian’s Palace which was definitely worth paying a bit extra for. Toni, the owner, was very responsive. I would definitely recommend.
