This place is a great old beautiful home. It has exactly the vibe you want for going to Stratford. Location is fabulous and the parking is easy. It does feel a bit more like a communal accommodation with private rooms than a hotel. I stayed three nights and never saw staff which was weird compared to previous hotel experiences and there was no cleaning done either so garbage emptying was missing. Small communal fridge and small microwave and a tea/coffee station which is good since there’s nothing in the room. There is a great room with a pool table. There is also another room which had inconsistent hours where it was open for tea and coffee. Would absolutely stay again as the charm, comfortable bed, parking and location are perfect.

We had a lovely stay at the Stone Maiden Inn. It’s in a great location, within easy walking distance of downtown Stratford and the Festival theatres, so we hardly needed the car. The staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful, and the inn itself was charming and comfortable. We’d happily stay here again.

If you’d like to step back in time but still enjoy modern day amenities, this is the place for you. This establishment has been operating as an Inn since 1905! The proprietor, Tim is warm and welcoming; your accommodation is walking distance to shops and restaurants. We had a super time and we’ll be back.

The owners are really nice. The location is good. The street is quiet. The room was clean with air conditioning. There is plenty of parking. It is beside a train track but it never went passed when we were there. We were told it only passes by once in the morning between 8-9 and once in the afternoon between 5-6.
