The hotel was really nice. The onsen was great to experience, a little nerve wrecking since it was our first time. Accidentally got the smoking room so it did have a lingering smell of cigs but I don’t think the non smoking room would’ve been different since the hallways also had that smell. The staff was friendly and helpful !

Wonderful service fraction of a cost

This property was a little dated compared to some of the others we have stayed at. However, it was very clean and the customer service was top notch. The view of Mt. Fuji from the back of the hotel is breathtaking. The onsen was quite peaceful and relaxing with a mix of hotel guests and locals from the public. Lots of food options near the hotel and the breakfast was reasonably priced and tasty. Great service from the front desk. Short walk to Fuji-Q from the hotel. Would stay here again for sure!

Nice place to stay

It was quite clean and onsen was nice. We could see Mt. Fuji from our window. It was quite near to Fuji-Q Highland. Quite few restaurant were near by and a convenience store was just cross the road also, Daison(100yen shop) was next door. The restaurant in the hotel was very good.

There was almost no english information for referrals to areas to visit, and the front desk had very little english understanding. The room had no comfort at all. One hard chair and a very hard bed. I was reprimanded for wearing my shoes in the lobby. Apparently you can only wear shoes in half the lobby. There was a small plaque sign in the floor with instructions to take off your shoes. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

About a 20 minute walk from Mt. Fuji station, it's a bit of a walk with luggage. There are buses throughout the area running every 20-30 minutes. It's very much a suburb/rural area. The hotel has a great view of Fuji-san and great value with the onsen facilities in the hotel. Be sure to double check if you booked a smoking room or not.

Good location, great place

Great place to stay in Mount Fuji area. Our room was 302 with direct views to Mount Fuji. The room was huge with 3 beds an bathroom but no wardrobe. The place has amazing public baths with indoor and outdoor areas. Staff are really kind and helpful. There is a restaurant on site but didn’t try it. Didn’t have breakfast included either son can’t comment. There is plenty of car spaces. There is a Daison next door, couple conbinis and restaurants nearby. Great location to explote the area. We had a car so cannot comment on public buses service. Absolutely recommendable, will stay again if I ever go back.

The good point I can say are: 1) The place is quiet; and 2) The food in the restaurant is cheap. However for the bad points: 1) The room is full of dust and we end up keep on sneezing the entire evening and ended up up having colds a few days after. When we try to pat the bed, dust just spread around! 2) We are not allowed to request for additional towels which is weird considering that it is connected to an onsen. 3) The restaurant staff are not attentive at all. Probably that is what you get with cheap food? However, the restaurant was not even crowded. Despite ordering in the touch panel the order keeps coming wrong and the we even ended up having to get the plates, tongs, and towel, directly from the service station because it is not coming. All our orders are on the table but we cannot cook because we do not have the equipment needed in grilling the food. 4) More importantly, we booked this hotel despite being far from most tourists spots because they advertise that you can see from the hotspring Mt. Fuji. However, you can barely see it. So it is a waste! Well, you can see it from the hotel room which is good, but we were very unsatisfied with the dust that we cannot enjoy the view at all.

The onsite onsen is amazing and easily the best one in Japan (that we stayed at). We were able to hike Fuji one morning and head to the onsen in the afternoon. One of the baths had a view of Fuji, too, a dry sauna, a cold bath, and was beautiful. The hotel portion was good too.
