Room was really small which makes it difficult to move in when couple offer small belongings are placed on the floor. But mostly, i did not like the fact that it shows totally different pictures on hotel.com while making the booking. I just chose the room by looking at the picture but was not impressed when entered the room Cox it was booked for some special occasion. Location wise best place to stay in summer if one chose the right room type.

The check-in is in the castle, but our room was in a different building and the check-out is in the breakfast building. Although a bit far from Stockholm city, it is nevertheless easily reachable by metro/local train

One star hotel

Small room, no service, no refrigerator, noisy, breakfast was awful, no coffee machine or espresso, very poor quality breakfast, very rude stuff working on kitchen, 5 min before 09:00 he kicked gusts out, breakfast time was from 07:00 to 09:00, no safety boxes in rooms, air conditioning defect, after 23:00 if you need help no body was in hotel and you have to wait until tomorrow. NO RECOMMEND this hotel at all

We booked a room at Vällingby Slott in Stockholm for a relaxing mini getaway before our baby arrives. As I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant, we were really looking forward to a comfortable and restful stay. Instead, it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The weather outside was around 30°C, but the room was even hotter because there was no air conditioning. Opening the window wasn’t an option due to the constant noise outside and the large number of mosquitoes. The bed creaked loudly every time either of us moved, making it impossible to sleep. The bathroom light didn’t work, the room light kept flickering, two of the pillows smelled like sweat, and the shower thermostat was broken and stuck on extremely hot water. For a hotel, these are basic standards that should be met. It’s unacceptable to rent out a room with so many maintenance and cleanliness issues, especially during such hot weather. We booked this stay to relax before welcoming our baby, but instead we spent the entire night awake and uncomfortable. We didn’t get even a single minute of proper sleep. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I certainly would not stay here again.

You stay in the smallest room imaginable in what appears to be former stable rooms. Good luck finding staff. Don't try to wash your hair in the shower as it's so small you can't get your arms to your head. Weird smell in the stable/room. Breakfast was fine, but half the dishes were empty both mornings. There is an epic karaoke room though...that was super fun

Väldigt fin svit. Trevlig personal som är väldigt hjälpsamma. Restaurangen serverade god mat och frukosten är alldeles lagom. Hunden fick följa med oss in i baren och även han fick något att dricka. Vi kan tänka oss att tillbringa ytterligare en helg Slottet.
