We loved the whole atmosphere of the property and there was a lot to do on site. Also, the location was great - super close to The Garden of the Gods. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We loved the breakfast bar, free onsite concerts, access to free bikes, and the pool area. It was great having a kitchenette to save on dining out. The only reasons for not giving it 5 stars were some minor issues with our room. The bath/shower needed to re-caulked and there were chips in the enamel of the tub. The fan in the bathroom (that comes on with the light) was extremely loud. Also, the bed was too firm for my liking, but might not be a problem for some.

Proximity is nice, yet it’s a rustic and old complex. Restroom has significant mold in shower, plus low flow water pressure. You can’t flush the toilet and wash your hands at same time until the toilet fills up.

Adorable place to stay. Very clean, staff was very nice and location is perfect for Gardens of the Gods and Pikes peak. My husband and I love to stay at small mom and pop places when we travel to Colorado and this place is a gem. Next time we head back to Colorado Springs we will definitely be staying here

Loved my stay at the Buffalo!

Absolutely LOVED my stay at Buffalo Lodge. Great people, so friendly and kind. The whole place felt like home. Big fireplace in the lobby. Live soothing music in the evening when we arrived. Our room was huge and the mattress was so comfortable! Close to restaurants and attractions! Can’t wait to come back to the Buffalo! A great place to stay!

It is a neat little hotel that has a great location and very fun local vibe. The exterior looks dated, but that is on purpose. The rooms were well maintained and clean. I really enjoyed the live music and staff.
