Exceptionally helpful staff. Complimentary transfer from train station was appreciated valuable as it’s just beyond a short walk. Excellent included breakfasts. Beautiful and modern interior chalet style ambiance. Gorgeous views from room and main balcony. Superb cuisine at the casual restaurant with very good wine selections. Close to Gstaad. Visited in early fall but clearly a good option for ski season.

Very friendly service. Comfortable bed. Amazing cocktails in the very cozy bar! The place is very convenient in every way. Despite of being fully booked, it was quiet. I booked a penthouse suite for the weekend, and the room was incredible. It felt like a chalet, complete with a fireplace and a stunning view. However, there was one major issue with the hotel’s checkout policy. They insisted on a 11:00 AM check-out, and if you request a later time, they charged an additional CHF 40 per hour starting at 11:15 AM. This was quite disappointing, especially considering that I had spent CHF 550 per night for a room, and the hotel was not even fully occupied. I tried to negotiate a later checkout time, but they insisted on the standard policy. I explained I wanted to stay longer to use the SPA and if you checkout they charge CHF 35 per person to access the spa, again an additional expense. Another issue was the limited free parking space in front of the hotel. When it was full, I had to use indoor parking, which cost CHF 25 per night. The front desk staff explained that this was a management policy, but I felt that the hotel was treating its customers as if they were walking wallets. I won’t be returning to this hotel until they are more flexible with their checkout policy and additional expenses. I have heard that a new owner recently purchased the hotel, and I hope he will realize that these policies are detrimental to the customer experience.

Établissement très joli mais nous avons été déçus par notre récent séjour. Après une première visite il y a quelques années, nous avons eu le sentiment que la qualité avait baissé : service mitigé, chambre très chaude et énormément de moustiques (des moustiquaires seraient appréciées pour un hôtel de cette catégorie). Le prix est élevé au regard des prestations, d’autant que de nombreux services sont payants : départ tardif (CHF 20.–/h), parking (CHF 25.–/nuit) et accès au spa après le départ (CHF 35.–), alors que celui-ci n’est pas très grand. Dommage, car l’établissement a pourtant tout pour offrir une excellente expérience.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel and enjoyed the restaurant as well. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The facilities are welcoming and well maintained.
