The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was very small with a short toilet. The sink in the room was also small, so no place to put toiletries. I would not recommend for anyone who has trouble with stairs.

Cool 19th century hotel, right in the middle of town. Walk everywhere. The only complaint I had was the beds. They sag in the middle, which isn't a problem if you're alone. They should probably be platform beds. The hotel was retrofitted with en suite bathrooms, obviously. But everything works! Parking on the street right out front was no problem. Very secure and really pretty.

Hotel quality dropped significantly

Terrible customer service from the front desk lady. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Additionally, there was no real breakfast offered. Just cold bread and cold sweet pastries. The new management team is very deficient. Trying to cut corners everywhere they can.

Comfortable stay in this historic hotel. Friendly greeting upon arrival & we were shown around the ground floor - lounge, breakfast room, parking etc. Room was clean and spacious. Freshly cooked breakfast in the morning was delicious and more than adequate for the day ahead. We were aware there is no lift, so packed a small overnight bag accordingly.

Overall good stay. Hot tub wasn't working properly so it was a hot soaker tub. Staff was amazing. Great homemade breakfast, and they are super friendly. I'd stay again.

St Elmo is a quintessential Ouray hotel.

Well restored, maintained hotel, very welcoming and comfortable. The people were friendly. Hotel is on the main street and everything was within walking distance.
