We were in two rooms with a total of 4 adults and two toddlers. We stayed in the Sofia bldg which was just great. We were on the 3rd floor so some stairs, but the view was excellent. The ocean amenities vary depending on the surf- so we were able to walk on the rocks at low tide but didn't swim. We enjoyed both pools and went to both. There's a kids playground which they loved. The food was very good. Breakfast buffet is included on Expedia and pay separately if you book direct. It was really good and excellent coffee. They also take a senior discount when booked thru the resort. We did the dinner buffet a couple times but we really enjoyed the Ala carte menu. Especially the beef bulalo and fried tilapia. The staff was very attentive and we took a shuttle up to play padel ball, pool, corn hole. We took the shuttle because it's uphill and we had small kids. Getting there from Manila took some maneuvering. Bus, jeepney and trike. But we were able to find a private driver on Facebook to drive us back to Manila and found him very reasonable. We had the whole place more or less to ourselves during the week and the day we left they were having what looked like a very fun company bonding event. They also did a nice birthday cake, song etc for a birthday

Super clean resort with friendly service

A gem! Service was excellent and food was good!;) could use a few more dishes with veggies though. Beer was cold! A treat since most resorts (even high end ones!) sometimes serve tepid beer. Very clean resort with good amenities. The beach isn't much of a beach though coz of the very coarse sand and rocky ocean floor. They do lend out aqua socks but must get yours quickly coz smaller sizes and kids sizes go fast. Our kids had a good time exploring for hermit crabs and other sea creatures though! The cabanas are also very comfy with cushions and lovely white curtains. Would have given this resort full marks if not for the rocky beach.

I enjoyed the delicious food served in a buffet-style meals. One thing I noticed was there's no ventilation or exhaust fan in the toilet. But the rest was okay.

I find the pricing of the food on the steep side with limited variety. Housekeeping can be improved as they did not makeup our room when we asked them too despite our stay being for two nights. But rest of the staff were very pleasant.

I like everything except the beach full of stones and corals. The rooms were clean. We enjoyed their swimming pools. Their food was really nice. They served us in big portions and the staff are very accommodating. I like how the place is well preserved and maintained. The view is just amazing as well. Over all, it was worth the price!

Check-in and check-out was smooth and quick. Room was clean and quite spacious. Room assigned to us was on the third/top floor of Casa Sofia, which has a good view of the beach. Resort also has an infinity pool. Room charge includes four buffet meals (afternoon snack, dinner, breakfast and lunch). Overall, great value for money.

Not too great not too bad

Our family has already visited Palm Beach Resort several times ago prior to this booking. To my surprise, I received an email stating that what I (already paid for which was charged straight off my credit card) was good for 4 guests and not 5. I was irritated because they give you a notice one day before the actual booking. I have responded on their email and did not hear any feedback. When we got there, I did the usual write down the names of folks I am with for which I did, on this very same day, I stipulated that (next day) I need to leave their premises to attend an event within the area. We got back before 11 pm’ish and to my surprise again I realized the stuff didn’t properly endorsed and paid attention to what I have said and requested, the security personnel thought we’ve added another guest and the way they question is somewhat disappointing and very irritating. The road to get to main PBR during our visit was still under construction. If you ask me if I’ll come back regardless of the bad experience with their stuff, I totally said I would because of the improved ‘full-board’ meals from day to night. What more do they need and have to improve? High-range wifi connection, if possible do something with the beach its too and full of rock pebbles that you’ll need a foot gear to combat and enjoy the salt water.

STUNNING VIEWS

The hotel rooms are very old and have not been maintained. One thin towel per person with no hand towels or washers is not surficiant . Limited internet and mobile service however the pool is great with stunning views

Excellent Resort

Outstanding service throughout our stay. Very easy check in and check out. Great amenities. Awesome beachfront view from the room. Excellent Philippine buffets. Made special meals for our 5 year old daughter. Terrible phone and internet service. Coral beach, but aqua shoes were provided. Will visit again.

Highly Recommended!

We went here on weekend to celebrate our daughter's 4th birthday. We're lucky the place was not crowded. The place is good, very relaxing. Our 2 kids enjoyed the pool & mini playground. The staff is very accommodating they even made the birthday cake free of charge. Also the food is nice.

꽤 괜찮은 휴가

모든것이 괜찮은 숙소였습니다.다만 접근성이 너무 떨어지네요... 직원들도 친절하고, 투숙객을 배려한다는 느낌을 받았습니다. Refresh를 위한 휴가지로는 아주 좋은 숙소인 것 같습니다. 하지만 City life를 즐기는 분들에게는 비추입니다.

PALM BEACH BATANGAS

It was great. The place is calm and peaceful. It is good for soul searching or you need some quiet time to relax. It is just that the way to get there is difficult. The roads still need to fix. The road before you get there are steep but the place is worth the travel. I had a great stay there. :)

My favorite resort in Batangas

This is my favorite resort in Batangas and I've been there twice now. The staff are amazing and they cater very well for vegetarians, as long as you tell them of course :) The rooms are spacious and clean and most guests are respectful of the suggested 10PM noise curfew. Although they gave us the Royale junior room instead of the better Deluxe room that we paid for. There's not much difference but the Deluxe room has a split bathroom which would have been useful and it's also a little bit bigger.
