Great Location Isn't Enough

The location is excellent but the hotel is tired. The balcony was scary - dirty and rusted. I wouldn't even open it. The view was of decaying buildings. The breakfast wasn't good. But the staff was very nice.

Expect what you booked

The hotel is old and not remodeled. When I walked into our room, it was really hot and humid. Same for the hallway, but the front desk area was cool. The toilet in our room wasn’t work when we arrived at 3am. The sink knob fell off when I turned it. We didn’t bother to call the front desk because we didn’t speak Portuguese. However, the front desk and cook for the hotel was nice.

The proporty is nothing like its opctures. The place is run down, in need of serious reform with mildewy smell, agging worn out mattresses, a tiny rv set too high to watch it. I could onlt stay 1 night before I gad to leave.

The reviews I read were correct, the hallway and the room had a really strong urine smell. I tried to ignore that, but once I got to bed the pillows had a strong sweat smell like that they hadn't change the pillow cases in a long time. I went downstairs and got a new set of blankets and pillow cases and tried to spend the night there and look for another hotel next morning. I wasn't able to stay there more than 2 hours, the smell was way too strong, I went downstairs and ask for a refund and I had paid 5 days in advance. Once I got the refund back I was out of there as soon as possible. PS. My friend got his room across the hallway and had the same issue, we both moved out.

A água não esquentava adequadamente. Café da manhã não tem um requeijão, uma geleia, apenas margarina. Pelo preço que cobram, poderiam oferecer um serviço melhor.

Equipe da recepção maravilhosa, já as colaboradoras da cozinha do cafe da manhã opostas. O hotel é aconchegante porém a agua do chuveiro não esquenta. A recepção informa que a caldeira é assim mesmo e que a agua nao sai mais quente. Então para quem curte banho morno para frio ok, mas para quem toma banho quente complica.

O hotel fede esgoto, era impossível permanecer no quarto pois os banheiros não tem janela então o mal cheiro de esgoto toma conta dos quartos e áreas comuns, reclamei na recepção e me disseram que mandariam alguém passar “bom ar” mas o problema é crônico, depois de me dizer que não tinha outro quarto enquanto eu tentava reclamar com a hotéis.com que por sinal não atendeu, me trocaram de quarto para um com janela no último andar. O hotel é bem localizado, mas já tive outras duas estadias lá que foram melhores. O quarto estava com cheiro muito forte de mofo e encanamento. Relatamos na recepção sugerindo a mudança de quarto, ele disse que uma pessoa iria até o quarto verificar, porém uma camareira esteve lá borrifou uma essência e ficou por isso. Sempre que voltávamos pro quarto o cheiro estava bem forte, ainda bem que foi apenas uma noite. Muito ruim pra quem tem problema respiratório.
