Staff are very helpful and polite, answering questions about local business and were incredibly accomodating to my few odd questions and requests while I stayed. The room was clean, simple and was quite thick walled, I never heard a peep from anywhere else in the building while in my room. Dining experience was nice, and the food was very enjoyable. A simple, perfect gem of a hotel by my measure, nothing too flashy, but more than fancy enough after 6 hours on a plane or bus.

This is a great location and a traditional pub. The accommodation is “old school” devoid of any modern fixtures and fittings and complete with creaky floorboards and old simple furniture and I loved it! Especially the balcony. Showers were hot and powerful, I slept well. Staff were great, enjoyed the food. Just great!
