I recently stayed at the King Evelthon Beach Hotel in Cyprus. While there were several highlights that made the trip enjoyable, there were a few areas—specifically the spa and beverage quality—that didn't quite hit the mark for a resort of this scale.
The Highlights: Service & Scenery
* Arrival & Reception: First impressions were fantastic. The reception area is beautiful, bright, and open. The staff there are incredibly knowledgeable and eager to help, making the check-in process seamless.
* The Room: We had a great room with a stunning view. It was a pleasure waking up to the scenery every morning.
* Housekeeping: A huge shout-out to the cleaning staff! They were amazing—always friendly, and the room was kept impeccably clean and tidy throughout our entire stay.
* The Food: Considering the challenge of catering to so many different nationalities, the food was actually amazing. There was a great variety and the quality was consistently high.
The Lowlights: Maintenance & Drinks
* The Spa (Needs Urgent Work): This was the biggest disappointment. The equipment only worked intermittently, and the maintenance was poor—hooks literally broke the moment we tried to hang clothes on them. Most concerningly, the covers on the beds in the resting area didn't look like they had been changed all week. It definitely lacked the "luxury" feel you'd expect.
* All-Inclusive Wine: If you're a wine lover, be warned. The be warned. The quality of the wine on the all-inclusive package was, fr
