Don't be fooled by the fifties-rowhouse-motel roadside appearance. This place is a delight -- super-comfortable bed, clean room, extra-helpful staff, and the best rain-shower we have experienced in months. Though Okeechobee is off the beaten path, we will DEFINITELY be staying here again.

A hidden gem

I was in Okeechobee for two days of training. I chose Scottish Inn because of the reviews I read. It did not disappoint! The room was very clean and very spacious. The waterfall/rain forest shower was a special treat after a long tiring day. And all the staff I encountered were super friendly.

Check in was easy owner is very pleasant and informative. Room very clean except floor which is wood laminate. I had to wear socks or slippers due to floor making my feet dirty. Beds very comfortable with good pillows. Coffee in room only. Its on main road so that was noisy, thankfully I had ear plugs. I would stay here again

Good value for basic motel

Good value for basic motel in Okeechobee. Room had flat panel HDTV with Xfinity, decent bed, hot shower, mini refrigerator, decent WiFi. Window AC was loud as they usually are but keep the room cool and masked any traffic noise. Coffee avail. in office but just go to nearby McDonalds for breakfast ;-)

It is a great place to stay for one or two nights without any amenities. The room and bathroom were very clean. The shower is small and water pressure not great. Honestly the only problem we really had was checkout was at 10 and at 9:30 the cleaning lady was knocking at our door. My husband was putting things in the truck and another lady walked right into the room at 9:45. Checkout is at 10. Would I stay there again? Maybe, but, it wouldn't be my first choice. Great if it's a last minute overnight stay though.
