Amazing location!

The most beautiful building and surroundings- excellent service at reception and during whole stay - breakfast was fresh and hot and served in the historic dining room. We enjoyed a lovely walk round the grounds and gardens which were lovely!

Quiet and beautiful place

This accommodation is very cosy with friendly staff and beautiful garden. The room is not large, but quite comfortable. You could spend the whole day there!

Really enjoyed this stay, great to stay in such a rural area. Gardens are amazing, accomodation if basic but everything that we needed. Having some bar meals and drinks on site was very helpful. Breakfast was substantial.

Relaxing weekend

The hall and garden are fantastic, room was good, bathroom could do with updating, at 2pm left hanger on bedroom door to have room made up with fresh towels as placed used ones in bath as directed (as 3 day stay) only to have got new biscuits and coffee, no clean towels or bed made. On the whole would stay here again as the staff are fantastic, friendly, helpful and food was brilliant 👌

Amazing historic building and location

Some of the rooms are a little tired and in need of some love and attention but it's worth putting up with that for all the positives about the property. And it's a good competitive price especially for Cambridge. We return and will contribute to return to this lovely historic building. And the people who complain about the condition of the rooms just 'need to get a life' :)

Excellent last-minute overnight stay. Lovely room in a magnificent, quiet setting and very good value. Beautiful gardens for a walk after dinner. Great breakfast before departure, just a shame we couldn't stay longer!

This is part of Cambridge University so it’s not a hotel but it is fabulous!! Amazing building with WOW factor ! Room was compact but everything you need is available- boiling hot day but the room remains cool and comfortable Food at bar decent price superb meal of steak pie chips and gravy complimented with an ice cold beer was £19 👍 Great night sleep followed by a lovely breakfast couldn’t wish for more and will definitely be back when next in area
