An absolute dump with a view
Let me start by saying that the ONLY good thing about this hotel is that it is on the beach and the view from some of the rooms is quite stunning.
Let's start with the comfort of the room. Our bathroom sink leaked from the bottom all over the floor every time you turned it on. There was constantly yellow looking standing water by the toilet, which attracts mosquitos. There was no toiletries, no tv, no housekeeping, and the wifi was a joke. If you plan to stay out all the time, then this hotel might be okay. Unfortunately, my boyfriend got sick and we had to spend a night actually in the hotel.
The lack of housekeeping was also a bummer. Unless you manage to keep sand out of your room, you will be dealing with it for the rest of your stay. It also means that you will have to go down and ask for things like toilet paper and clean towels. This is a problem because the staff barely speak English and are quite rude.
The restaurant that they advertise doesn't exist. When I asked about this, the guy laughed at me.
Maybe if they used the money from the ridiculous rates they charge to fix the rooms, the place wouldn't be such a dump. They actually have a sign that says you will be charged full price if you get even a little body paint on anything, so maybe that is their repair policy.
Honestly, stay somewhere else!
