A very beautiful, nice, clean, quiet and modern hotel, in the center of Popayán. Situated in the middle of the White City.

Still one of the best hotels in Popayán. Situated in the middle of the old town (White City) you got everything you need within reach. Very modern hotel with a very service minded personell. Good breakfast that gives you a good start for the day.

Yes , I would happily stay here again !

Lovely old hotel with a perfect location in el centro . The thing that makes it so good is the staff , they are charming and helpful - usually with a smile ! Muchas gracias a todos !👌👍👍

6/10 Good

Charming and Aesthetically pleasing heritage structure, kind staff, great location, spacious rooms, modern bathrooms, but TERRIBLE HARD beds - took painkillers to sleep. They charge for the very small breakfast they offer - a set menu, and it’s not good. We would choose a different property next time. #1 most important hotel rule - a comfortable bed. Everything else is fluff…🙂

The architecture of the hotel was amazing. The staff was very helpful and they kept the room clean. The climate here is cool so it didn’t need air conditioning.

Beautiful but noisy at times

Great place. Unfortunately our room was facing a busy street so was very noisy. We were frequently awakened by car horns. Get a room on the quiet side.
Verified review

8/10 Very good

Sound reverberates through this hotel and conversations, footsteps, and restaurant noise is amplified. Outside street noiae is loud, too. It's quiet through the night, though, as el centro shuts down relatively early here.

8/10 Very good

Noisy parties negate all the good..

The good part… the bed, linens, television was new, big, good signal. Central location on a busy corner. Internal sliders successfully block the street noise. Ceiling fan. The bad.. breakfast should be included. The worst. The pizzeria that opens into the courtyard is used for parties. This means loud, live , amplified music. So loud that you cannot watch the television and certainly cannot sleep. I stayed for more than a week. I will be returning to Popayan but I will never again stay at La Plazuela. These noisy parties are very inconsiderate to hotel guests and ruined my experience.

Habitación comoda, aunque se escucha el ruido de los bares vecinos, hotel bien ubicado, central. El personal muy normal, no hacen un favor. El desayuno es aparte muy basico. Hay restaurante muy regular y caro
