Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable.Owner was so nice I enjoyed talking with him. He allowed my dog to stay which was a big deal for me. Overall was a wonderful stay. Definitely will stay here again.

We knew when reserving we were not get top of the line accommodations. That being said , I don't usually mind if it is not newly updated. However, cleanliness is my main observation. To feel comfortable in a place it needs to be clean. It had old carpets which made me extremely happy i brought slippers. Stove and fan for it were dirty. Fridge provided was a great size but again not too of the line clean and also was not working properly. Put freezes in freezer and the were frozen but frozen burgers were not. The room was not as expected as seen on the web page of the motel. It was cramped. For accommodation of 5 people there was not many towels and wash clothes. There was a second bedroom in our accommodation which is rare door didn't close properly and furniture was very very old. In the living area my son had to sleep on an extended chair. Modern looking. The only thing in there that was up to date but was small for him to sleep in. It was at best satisfactory, will not rebook unless I lost my memory

Bayside Motel Review

We booked on our way there and did not know what to expect. We were happily surprised by the place and the welcoming assistance we got. We woke up to find the beautiful bay and backyard which was offered to us to spend the day with our 3 years old. Would fully recommend.

The location was nice, staff was nice, staff was very understandable and the main reason they were given the stars!! however, toilet paper was so thin, it was thinner then the gift wrap tissue, there was a moldy smell and the bathroom door wouldn't close at all. For the price i paid you'd expect better quality supplies and it not to be moldy!

I needed a place for 3 nights with my kitty. BAYSIDE acommodated me, for which I am entirely grateful. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. It's an older spot, but is scrupulously clean. The surroundings are top notch, with a great view down to the Bay of Quinte.

An older motel but still more than adequate. Has what you need for a comfortable night alng with a very nice lakeside view. Even met some of the feathered local geese as they came ashore. Close to restaurants and other shops.couldnt ask for a nicer host He was very friendly and accommodating.not the ritz but was perfect for what we needed.
