This hotel was wonderful! The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The rooms were clean, and nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable. A small fridge was available in the room and it also had a large shared kitchen for guests to use. Overall an excellent hotel, would highly recommend. If you’re visiting old Quebec, it is worth spending a bit more to get a nicer spot with on-site employees and functional services. Our AC did not work, and the attendant was unable to fix it. Then we thought we fixed the AC, but despite the unit beginning to respond to our remote, it did not actually blow cold air. It takes half an hour for them to arrive on site after hours (after 7pm), so you can imagine the inconvenience if you require assistance. This is why we will pay more and stay elsewhere next time. Btw there is good public parking just a 14 minute walk away at GESPARC, which is in the same parade used by the Hilton. We were lucky to find parking there on a busy Saturday night.

A few positives did not outweigh the negatives. The positives - great area to walk and see Old Quebec. Beautiful historic building, updated with modern amenities while maintaining the charm, good air conditioning and wifi, loved the private balcony off our room. The negatives - no parking and nearby public lots we were directed to were all full so after unloading the car we ended up parking in a public lot at least a 20 minute uphill walk away. No fridge in the room was a major inconvenience. Room very small, bed not comfortable. Just espresso machine in room with only 2 pods, so no regular coffee for us in the morning and none set up in the lobby area for guests. No elevator in this historic building so second floor room required some lugging of suitcases etc. no offer or ask if we needed assistance upon arrival. Only 1 not so comfortable chair in room to sit.
