A real nurturing nest for me

this was a beautiful and relaxing retreat for me. The hot mineral pools, the spacious room I had with a kitchenette and a patio allowed me to spread out and enjoy the freedom of being away and being at home. I felt very nurtured by the host and the people I met there also. It is a very healing environment to spend time at.

The property is deceiving from the front entrance. Once inside its clean, quiet and delightful! The lady who runs it is very nice and accommodating! I would return in a heartbeat!!

Disappointed

This place has great potential that is being totally neglected. The bed springs were totally gone. Found out about all this too late at night. Gas heater was broken. There was an ineffective and noisy portable heater. Had to go to the pool area to get hot water because there was no coffee pot in the room. One little table was wobbly. One good thing was that there really wasn’t any one there so we got to use the waters all by ourselves.

Quiet and Relaxing

Nurturing Nest is tucked away in an offbeat location. It was a quiet and comfortable stay. Unfortunately, we experienced some plumbing problems during our stay. Our use of the property was limited, as we were visiting friends.

This place is quite and beautiful. It’s a very special place. Ram the owner is an outstanding host. There was a major issue with some guest and Ram handled it quickly and swiftly. I will be back for sure!

Tranquility

I absolutely enjoyed my time here. It was exactly what I was wanting. Tranquil, peaceful and quaint. The owner is a very kind and giving man who makes you feel right at home. 🙏 A hidden gem in my book. Grateful for my peace of mind while staying here.

My wife & I stayed a night at Nurturing Nest and left feeling mixed about our experience. Bottom line, Nurturing Nest did not feel like a hotel or a SPA, it felt more like a no-frills retreat house at a Marriott Courtyard price point. The Pros: - Friendly & hospitable owners who are on or near the premises. - Small (7 rooms); which means it's quiet and you'll get to enjoy the pool and hot spring pool without the rowdy crowds. -Mattress was firm and fairly comfortable. The meh's: - We booked room 7 which was a good sized one bedroom unit; the room was furnished with IKEA furniture. There were holes in the walls, broken blinds (making it difficult to sleep once the sun came at 5:30), and a shower and sink that were clogging. - There's nothing around here, just a 7-11 and a Chinese restaurant, which is fine if your plan is to stay on the property the whole time but less ideal if you want to get out and explore. - Cats on the premises! I read some prior reviews that there was a cat (actually two) but didn't expect them to be lounging on the chairs right outside our room the majority of the time. I might consider returning, but not at the current price point.

Nurturing Nest is the antidote to overblown and loud hot springs resorts. Six units in a residential area, Jonathan the cat will serenely watch you enter the indoor thermal pool. Rooms are spartan but entirely functional, dating from the craftsman era. Plenty of places outside to flop about near the slightly-cooler pool. This place has been in existence for two decades, a tiny gem.

This place was amazing in so many ways to start off with we received a phone call from the owner to confirm our arrival time and let us know our room was ready then upon arriving we were meet by Sandy the owner and shown our room and the property. The indoor pool / spa was the most healing water I’ve ever been in with a natural temperature around 105 degrees this is just what me and my wife needed after a long day of physical work. There is only seven rooms so we were the only ones in the pool and it was the most relaxing evening that we’ve had in a long time. If you are looking for a quiet get away and enjoy natural hot springs then this place is for you.

A cute, retro gem

I stayed here with some friends for one night of a girls' weekend. We could not have been happier. The hotel has a fun, retro vibe and the setting is lovely. We appreciated the indoor/outdoor pool. The room seemed clean. We also appreciated that the room came with a nice sized kitchen.

Overpriced

It was similar to a Motel 6, but older and not as clean. $50/ night would be a fair price. This was better than camping in a tent, it was a quiet neighborhood, with a pleasant breeze at night. It could have been worse. Just dated, dirty and overpriced.

Good hot mineral pool.

My one night stay here was very nice. Although the outside is unimpressive, as is the neighborhood, my room was very nice. It was spacious & clean. The indoor hot mineral pool is very nice & the outdoor pool is fine. It was quiet & fine for my purposes. Sandy & her husband are very nice. I’d stay there again.
