8/10 Very good

A well-maintained, clean, comfortable motel in an interesting, multi-cultural neighborhood and with easy access to downtown Montreal.

8/10 Very good

Our stay at Auberge St Jacques was quite good. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was very clean and housekeeping brought clean towels daily. The free parking was excellent and the Auberge was adjacent to transit making it easy to get to downtown. The staff were friendly and helpful.

10/10 Exceptional

The motel is in a commercial area but is very quiet and has good transportation links. There is a bus stop at the entrance. There The rooms are very clean and with bathroom toiletries provided. It was only for a short stay before a flight back to the UK but a very enjoyable stay.

Great overall stay at a reasonable price. It is a little distance from downtown, but public transit options are decent.

Had a nice time here for a 1 night stay. Clean room, friendly staff, and close to good restaurants! Definitely will stay here again if visiting Montreal.

6/10 Good

The room was clean (maybe slightly dated) and staff were excellent. The first night, no real complaints at all, but on our second night a group came in at 5am then proceeded to have showers, put music on and basically start a party. Having younger kids, they then woke up and there was option but to get packed up and move on. Shame as it was exactly what we had needed. The beds are ok, but one was very squeaky, so probably needs changed.

The room was well maintained and an amazing price close enough to downtown. Would book again!

This hotel was much nicer than I expected. It’s been all remodeled fairly recently, there’s really not much around the hotel. It’s about 6 miles from Montreal Center but much cheaper than the hotels in the center of Montreal. There was plenty of parking. The beds were comfortable. It had a refrigerator and a microwave. it sets off the road a little bit, so it was quiet.

Our stay at Auberge St. Jacques was great! The room and bathroom were clean and well maintained, and the two female receptionists were very kind and welcoming.

The place was extremely clean. And there was also a fridge and microwave. The front desk staff were extremely helpful with providing a hair dryer and coffee maker. It is close to the metro a 10 min bus ride or u can walk for 20 min. it was nice not being downtown because they closed off alot of streets for the world cycling. Commuting to dtn didnt take long at all. Coming back to the hotel was so calming and relaxing. I would definitely go back. There is also a tim hortons close by a 5 min walk and grocery store also walkable. There are a few places to eat walking towards the metro.

4/10 Fair

Very basic motel room -- no lights but harsh overheads, no coffee/tea, only one easy chair.. the room was clean and the bed was comfy, so if you only need a place to sleep for a night on your trip, it's okay.

I was surprised at how clean and neat the unit was! The bathroom was also very clean. One of the best motels I’ve stayed in and the staffs were very nice and friendly as well!

The motel was fantastic, and I was surprised to find the jacuzzi in my room was in fine working condition! This was a bonus, because I had spent most of my stay walking around Montreal, which was accessible via a short bus ride to the metro to go downtown. The only downside is how audibly I could hear some of my immediate neighbors, but it wasn't an issue due to how comfortably I slept while staying here!
