Staying here makes you feel a bit more like a family visitor than a tourist. The hotel is a refurbished manor in a residential neighborhood and only has 10 rooms. Everyone who works there is exceptionally nice and accommodating. It is our second time staying at the Raeburn and it is super easy to walk 20 mins to get to the more touristy areas or jump on the 24 or 29 bus.

Stockbridge and The Raeburn were an amazing way to wrap up my first trip to Scotland. While I loved my entire trip, this neighborhood made me feel at home, and staying at The Raeburn was so easy and relaxing. I loved staying at the Raeburn. My room was charming and quiet. Everyone was super helpful and friendly, and because the restaurant, bar & patio are local Stockbridge hangouts, you really feel a part of the neighborhood. The bartenders helped me try different local gins each night. You’re far enough away from the tourist madness, but in a lively & charming section of town. New Town is walking distance when you want to head in that direction. I’ll be back!!

Great hotel in the heart of Stockbridge

Great 2 night stay in Deluxe Room. Nice room with huge bathroom including roll-top bath. Staff were excellent during the stay and the food and drinks were first class, with breakfast particularly good. Very pleasant stay and will certainly be returning.
