Disappointed!!

It is very far from a 4 star rating for the hotel. There is no gym at all even though it says there is. The rooms are very small! The service is very disrespectful. The carpet was so wet...from the AC.

The hotel is located right at the waterfront which makes it good for a walk or just chilling outside. There is a mall nearby where you can find all kinds of shops at daytime. In the evening it is more of a quite neighbourhood. The hotel itself has pros and cons. The room is rather small and we didn’t really manage to find enough space for 2 bags. The furniture is very basic and the bathroom could get some repairs. Overall I felt like the room didn’t really match with mercure standards. Personell was overall very kind and helpful. Eventhough we didn’t feel very welcome upon check in when we asked for an early check in and the manager told us to wait for our room to be available if we want one with seaview. He also tried to sell us another night with a „discount“ for the last 4 hours to the check in time which endet up much more expensive than our booking was. After declining his several attempts to sell the breakfast he took our phone number and told us to send a message once the room will be available. Long after the official check in time we had never received any messages but got into our room, which was to the garden and had no sea view at all. Overall I think that was like the worst check in experience and more like a bazaar than a professional hotel. Overall it was ok, compared to a budget stay.

Where to begin… the staff, especially the young man that spoke English well was super helpful and nice. We booked a room on hotels.com and we’re only looking for places that included breakfast. When we were checking in, we were told that breakfast was not included and we showed the person the website that stated all rooms included breakfast, since nothing was mentioned on the reservation. He took a photo of the info we provided. The following morning we had breakfast and it included eggs cooked the way you wanted along with breads and fruits. it was pretty good. When leaving the manager called us over and said it wasn’t included and that we will have to pay approx $20 per person. After going back and forth with him, he agreed to comp it, but we would be charge all subsequent breakfasts. Well that was the last time we ate there. We were able to dine elsewhere for less. The other major issue we had was with the room. Be aware of the listed square feet of the room. We were really surprised how tiny the room was. Thay we can deal with, the issue was with cleanliness. Someone last year posted pics of mold, thuck dust with hair and filthy showers, well thay must have been the room ww received, because it looked the same but worse. The hotel needs to update towels and sheets, everything was a dingy brown and should have been white. Wifi was fine.

Apesar de ser pequeno, o hotel, é muito bem localizado e estando no apartamento superior, de vista para rio, fica maravilhoso. Roupas de cama e banho, cama, etc, são muito bons. Café-da-manhã muito bom tb...e os funcionários bem atenciosos! Enfim, excelente custo benefício.

Está muy lejos del estándar de un hotel Mercure. Baño de los años 70, desayuno bastante básico, no tiene servicio de restaurante o comidas, y no sigo para no parecer ultra exigente. Para 100 Dólares por noche que pague le 0 a 10 le pongo un 3.2.
