Our recent visit to Sanur Resort Watujimbar was a mix of highs and lows. The resort kindly offered us a free upgrade, which was a very welcome gesture. The premier suite was a highlight—it was wonderfully spacious and felt like a true home away from home, complete with a Nespresso machine, a separate dining area, and a large living space.
However, the noise level was a significant issue throughout our stay. The jacuzzi in our premier suite had a constant, loud hum that was impossible for a light sleeper to ignore. We also stay in the plunge pool room, which was much smaller than the other rooms and situated directly across from the busy pool bar. The noise from the bar was constant, and we found that the rooms themselves didn't have much sound insulation, meaning we could hear every conversation happening in the hallway or outside. Overall, the resort felt very crowded and overwhelming with the number of guests. All staff were friendly.
