Fantastiskt tidsepokshotell.

4/10 Fair

Came for a business trip for two days, chose it because of convenient location to the train station. When I arrived (around 12:30pm), I was told my single room was not ready, while the two other people who came after me had their room ready earlier, so it was strange as I didn’t request a particular room… The sleeping experience was bad- my room was facing the street, and although the general noise was ok, my bed would shake every time the tram came by (not necessarily anything the hotel can do about), even though I was on the 3rd floor. The tv was not working, channels would take a long time to load and would be very choppy, not possible to watch. The main issue were amenities- there are very limited. I really needed an ironing board and iron to iron my clothes for work meetings. I was told I would have them brought to me, after which was told none were available throughout the duration of my stay. As a result I had to go to the meetings in suboptimal condition. The staff was fine, but not particularly helpful. I will definitely stay elsewhere next time. It’s a decent hotel with some old fashion charm, I would not recommended for a work visit. The price was high given the abovementioned.

It started with the front desk and how unfriendly and unhelpful they were. Then the room had so much noise and trembling from the street cars, that you think an earthquake was happening.

Charming hotel with character. Rooms and facilities are a little dated but the staff were very friendly and we had no issues. Can't common on the food because we didn't eat there.

Some staf were helpful but others made me hate choosing this hotel. For vegetarians very small variety. Air conditioner was only warning (the room was very hot).

Rundstykkerne lidt tørre, men alt andet super godt.

Beautiful hotel with a little wear. Staff was wonderful. Only issue, it’s right on tram line with a stop next to the hotel. A little noisy with open windows. Ask for an upper level room. Easy 10 minute walk to main train station so easy access to travel.

Stunning room with balcony and an amazing view of Planty Park, in a beautiful hotel steeped in history. Excellent, varied breakfast, with a range of fruit, cooked, buffet-style food, cereals and delicious pastries. All staff were efficient and polite. Restaurant staff were particularly friendly and the evening meals are also delicious. Cleaning staff were also accommodating. The trams are noisy, so ear plugs are recommended. So close to Old Town, shops and mainline station. Very good value.
