The staff was friendly and when we arrived the room was in good shape. However, when we had gotten back to the room the next day after being out and about all day long, the room was cleaned at all, had not even been touched. We were not too upset it had not been cleaned but wanted fresh towels for showers. We went to the front desk to report the room had not been cleaned as was advised they are only required to clean the room every 3 days. We then asked about getting new towels and were we required to turn in our used towels before being given new ones. We went back to the room and gathered our towels to get replacement ones and because we only brought back the used ones instead of all of them, we were threatened to have our account being added with having extra towels. I had already made two trips to the front desk about new towels so asked front desk person to follow me to my room so I could give an account of what towels we still had because I did not want to risk being charged for having extra towels. Never have we, ask guests, been required to turn in our used towels to get replacement ones. Housekeeping usually takes care of swapping them out. The stay itself was fine and the staff was friendly, but the whole towel situation really put a negative on the experience and was completely unnecessary.
