The lady who check me in was fantastic and great attitude the room was immaculate

Basic clean hotel. Helpful staff, central location, close to public transport. Rooms are compact with a tiny bathroom.

Great little room and perfect for my stay. Staff was very friendly.

No surprise overnight stay

Good location but no staff on site, checked in and were given 2 keys one for front door and one for room. Luckily got ground floor room after asking for it as no lift and big cases. Small room as expected in London.

Handy, but bathroom was separate from room, didn't feel safe when using in middle of night

Good location and service

Good location and service. But dusty but comfy and everything we needed!

2/10 Poor

My furniture was literally falling apart. I could hear the neighbors flushing toilets and coughing. This was a quick book in between countries as we hopped through Europe, If I was not desperate for something affordable in British pounds for a quick turn around I would have checked out. there was not even anyone at the "Front desk" to make a complaint, ask for extra towels, nothing. The location is great for the international train station (walking distance) but other than that, it is falling apart and needs a lot of TLC. Horrible customer service, literally only saw someone when checking in. Toilet had poop on it that I had to clean (thankfully I travel with my own cleaning kit), carpet had not been vacuumed in months, you can literally see dust bunnies along the edges. TV was hung crooked and channels did not work. Sheets were horrible and itchy, I was nervous to sleep in them. Horrible experience on our first night in London.

Large rooms close to King's Cross

Comfortable bed, clean and large room, but a little bit noisy being next to reception where you hear everyone coming in and out of the door + the ring doorbell. I'm sure other rooms might be quieter. Stayed with shared bathroom, little odd to have padlock on bathroom

The bed was comfortable. An ideal place to stay if all you need is somewhere to lay your head at night. Ground floor room was very clean and warm. Only fault was that the private bathroom, which is padlocked, was upstairs which isn't ideal for someone with an injury/disability.

Great service, location and welcoming staff

Fab location close to St Pancras and held onto luggage for us which we dropped off early and left there after we checked out. Asked for extra pillows for the kids and they bought some right away. Very friendly and accommodating as they were last time. We will be back again no doubt!

Didn't love that the cigarette smoke would waft through the room, and the air freshner was way too strong, had to plug it out. But very close to the train station!

No breakfasts or en-suite. Very noisy front door and late loud residents kept waking us up..The hotel definitely needs updating. The spiral staircase made access to bathroom hazardous. Good location for Kings Cross
Laura, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Excellent location near the train stations and bus stops. Tiny rooms. Tiny bathroom. Tiny sink. But it was clean and location was most important for us. No elevator. Narrow stairways. No conditioner, only little packet of shampoo. One bar of soap. Kettle and water provided in room. Coffee provided in room and cookies and biscuits! No safe. Friendly check in service. Free WiFi. It met our needs and would return here.

Tiny room not big enough

Location is fabulous but room was way too small for two people and a big suitcase. The suitcase blocked the batrhoom door. OK for one person with small suitcase. Fixtures and fittings very tired. Need all ripping out and doing again.

Wasn't a great start to our week

Our room on our stay had 4 lamps above the beds. 3 of them had no bulbs in and the other didn't work. 6 spotlights in the ceiling again 1 didnt work. Had a mouse in our room all night that was running around, noone to speak to ask desk is unmanned at night. The only positive note was that the bed was comfy.

The only good thing is the location as it is really close to the St. Pancras International station. Unfortunately had no choice but to spend a night here but had really an awful experience. No elevators, had to take all my luggage up the really really small stairwell. Rooms are old, small and dirty. There was no hot water and the shower drain is clogged. No room whatsoever as it is extremely small. Can’t even open the luggage unless it is on the bed as the floor area is tiny. Everything felt old and very outdated. Walls are dirty, no hair dryer, just overall bad experience and travelers need to be aware. Pictures on the site do not reflect the hotel in reality.
Admir, 1-night trip

Meh

Wasn’t a great experience for how the charge. There was hair everywhere in my bed, dust everywhere and the carpet wasn’t clean either. A group of people came in on the second night and were very noisy and inconsiderate of everyone else. I took photos and videos but decided not to post. However, the night manager was very nice and understanding. He apologised for the state of bed and changed it at around 10pm.

I tried reaching you yesterday when I checked into my hotel in London. I can not believe hotel.com lit thi hotel on their website. It's not a hotel, it's mostly an old apartment without any elevators and no A/C. I tried to reach you yesterday to change to something else and the manager here said he will ot cancel and he said it's non-refundable. I had a horrible experience since it's a tiny room without any amenities. I had to sleep last night with the window open which was dangerous due to safety and I still did not get a good night's sleep. I want to get reimbursed for this horrible experience and the pictures you have posted on your website only show outside of the building from a different angle and nothing from insite is posted.

We are both lawyers and we will certainly be calling the health inspection agency to attend to this hotel. We were travelling internationally from Canada as a couple. We checked in Nov 1st after a long day of travel and stayed for half an hour before leaving. We booked this place because it was “cheaper” in the London area and because of the location. The pictures they have do not represent what the place actually looks like. It is really like a bad hostel. It was super dirty and tiny. We pulled wads of hair out of the rug. The walls were splattered with unknown substances. The furniture was in rough shape. We booked a new hotel for double the costs and when we respectfully told them were leaving they didn’t have much to say. We said we would pay for our first night but asked for a refund for the following two nights and they wouldn't entertain that. Just pay double the cost to stay anywhere but here.

8/10 Very good

A place to rest your head

We stayed here due to a train time. You get what you paid for, a room to put your head down. It was fit for purpose.
