We had an excellent stay at Hotel Cestelli!! Alessio & Asumi were LOVELY, very kind, helpful, and accommodating. The hotel is in an excellent location, nothing is more than a 20 minute walk. Very quiet for being right in a busy area! We felt very safe as well. The private bathroom was just the right size. We will happily return and recommend to anyone!!

Noise canceling window was great, but the one issue is since there is no AC you have to open the window for air. This property was truly great, but I would never stay here during summer months. Great location, amazing staff, secure and safe location. Would stay again!

Amazing host but there are a couple things that were bad. Broken tiles in the bathroom which felt unsafe to walk barefoot and the WiFi was slow/disconnected. The price is fair and in a good location.

For a 1-star hotel, I believe we received great value. The caretakers Allesendro and Asumi were top-notch welcoming and friendly. No TV in room but gives one more incentive to go outside and take in the vibes of Firenze. Our room was very clean, no air conditioning but the little electric fan seemed to do the trick. Overall, I was very pleased. Thank you Alessandro and Asumi for making our stay and experience possible.

Pleasant and enjoyable stay

We arrived at the hotel just around 8PM which is just about the time the reception was to close for the day. The host was gracious to stay back and give us the most detailed help that we could hope for as first time visitors to Florence. Gave us information on best spots to visit and eat. The property itself so close to all main attractions in Florence between 5 to 15 minutes walk to most of them. It is also located in the trendiest part of the town. The walk from the Novella station to the hotel was enjoyable with many sights to see along the way. It does come with a shared bathroom with other guests. So you have to be mindful and keep it clean.

This hotel is 1 star so I didn’t expect so much before I arrived. But for my surprised the location is excellent. The room is spacious, clean and the bed and pillows are very comfy! It is important for me to have a clean, good night sleep and a safe area. The building is cool so even it’s hot outside, my room temperature is good. If you are traveling and on workcation, get another working space. If you are just stay to have a good night sleep, have your own data plan. And don’t mind sharing a shower/toilet then this is perfect for you. I highly recommend this if you are a quiet, budget traveller. Very friendly and helpful owners.

Good value, clean & perfect location

I booked a single room with shared bathroom. The hosts were very kind and informative. Nothing was too much trouble and plenty of good advice about the local area. Yes, it isn’t great sharing Bathroom facilities and the water pressure isn’t the best for taking a shower. But all in all, taking into account the class of Hotel, the friendliness of the hosts and the cleanliness of the facilities I would definitely consider booking again. The location is perfect for the surrounding area.

It's a hostel not a hotel, couldn't sleep. Bathroom is shared with 6 other rooms. Weird key system, and the shower was not only cold but not enough pressure. Wouldn't recommend going.

There was almost no pressure in the shower. Took 5-6 minutes for the few drops to get warm. Only used the hot water that was at most 40 degrees. I almost couldn't get the shampoo out of my hair. Should be dangerous with such a low temperature of the hot water in view of Legionnaires' disease. Unfortunately not a hotel I recommend

ほんっとうに最高でした 日本人の方がご夫婦で経営されているホテルです とても安心できます わたしのクレカICチップが壊れてしまい、絶望的だったのですが、滞在前から相談のメッセージでのやりとりをしていただき、マニュアル決済というやり方で対応いただいて本当に助かりました お部屋も最高に可愛くて天井が高くてベッドが大きくて本当に滞在しやすかったです 個人的にはバスルームがとってもかわいくて好きです 夜になるとキャンドルが灯って素敵な雰囲気でした 帰国後真似したいなと思いました トイレバスは他の宿泊客と共用ですが、客室数が少ないのであまりバッティングすることなく快適に過ごせました 立地も最高です お買い物したものをすぐに置きに来れるので安心してお買い物できました トイレ休憩に一旦ホテルに戻ったり、本当に助かりました
