What a wonderful stay. The hotel is in an amazing location. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and well maintained. The breakfast was well worth the price. The coffee machines make latte’s and expressos. Two coffees in a cafe would cost more than a delicious hot breakfast with everything you could want and the best coffee! Highly recommended!

The hotel is centrally located, and most sites in Barcelona are an easy walk or a short metro or cab ride away. The neighborhood is safe, well lit at night, with many good restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, and grocery stores. The check-in was easy and quick. The hotel staff was friendly and really helpful, particularly Nada at the front desk. The room was bright with comfortable beds, and the air conditioning worked well. The bathroom was clean and huge by European standards, with a wonderful rainfall shower, plenty of hot water, and great water pressure. The flat-screen TV had Spanish-language channels. The hotel has a rooftop pool for relaxing and a restaurant that serves a buffet breakfast. The hotel's overall vibe is relaxed, quiet, comfortable, welcoming, and close to all the great things Barcelona has to offer. I highly recommend the hotel for a memorable stay and good value in the center of Barcelona.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. The location was also good. The breakfast was nice, and the rooftop pool on the 7th floor was a great feature with a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, I had a good stay. However, although the hotel is rated 4 stars, I personally feel that the rooms and overall standard are closer to a good 3-star hotel. Even so, I would recommend it because of the cleanliness, the friendly staff, and the enjoyable facilities.

We really enjoyed our stay at Petit Palace Trencadis in Barcelona and would definitely stay here again. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a very nice selection. The location is in a quiet area, yet conveniently close to grocery stores, other shops, and a market, which made it very easy to pick up anything we needed. And the staff were fantastic. Everyone was friendly and helpful; Kim deserves a special mention for being especially welcoming and attentive. Of course, no hotel is perfect, and there are a few things to be aware of. This is a boutique hotel, not one of those large luxury hotels on Passeig de Gracia. So, if your main goal is to impress people, you may want to stay there instead — and be prepared to pay accordingly! But for us, the smaller, more personal atmosphere was part of the charm. The hotel is also about a 10-minute walk from the Metro, so it is not quite the most convenient option if you want to use public transportation. And while the pool is a nice feature, the view from it is nothing particularly memorable. All in all, we had a wonderful stay. Great breakfast, friendly staff, a peaceful location, and all the everyday conveniences nearby. We left very happy with our choice and would happily recommend Petit Palace Trencadis to others visiting Barcelona.
