Gorgeous well kept historic property. The breakfast the the afternoon tea were outstanding. We forgot our jackets in the room's closet. The hotel staff found it. We gave them our location, a hotel in Rio de Janeiro. They mailed to us, and 2 days later we received our jackets. Outstanding hospitality service.

This hotel is even better in person! The service was outstanding, the hotel is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are really comfy & well decorated. Despite having reserved a royal suite room upstairs with a garden view which we had stayed many times as a repeated guest they put us on a lower level room with bad smell , mouldy walls, no shampoo, the bedroom upstairs was very noisy, a machine outside didn’t let us sleep, the breakfast is very average, watery orange juice, very little fruits . It was the last time we will stay at this hotel.

Banheiro cheio de mofo, box vazando e alagando o piso e água do banho que não se mantém na mesma temperatura durante o banho,não estão condizentes com uma diária de R$ 1.200,00!!! Ou vc se queima, ou toma banho frio!!! Café da manhã confuso. Existem várias opções para serem pedidas à cozinha, mas não possuem um menu. A atendente vem, fala uma lista rapidamente e vc não tem como memorizar para saber o que pedir. Não vale o que cobra! Não recomendo!

Local lindo, suntuoso e limpo. No banheiro ótima ducha, ótimo secador (fica no armário di quarto) e amenidades da Phytoervas. No quarto, cama e travesseiros muito limpos e confortáveis. Equipe prestativa. Em relação ao café da manhã: o salão é lindíssimo, digno de realeza, mas senti falta de um buffet com mais itens, tipo, só havia 2 tipos de pães, não havia itens para diabéticos, celíacos ou com alergia a leite, não havia variedade de paes, como croassant, folhados, nem muitos itens doces, etc.. Alguns itens eram servidos a pedido na mesa, mas sequer havia um cardápio do café da manhã. Tirando os itens solicitados à mesa, o buffet do café da manhã foi decepcionante. E mesmo sendo fraco, faltaram itens para reposição. Uma pena, pois os itens por solicitação eram bons, mas não suficientes para um café da manhã condizente com o padrão e valor da diária. Havia um pequeno chá da tarde com 2 horas de duração, com café, chá, chocolate quente e muffins e achei essa cortesia muito agradável. Por fim, tirando o buffet do café da manhã, o hotel é excelente mas eu só voltaria se o buffet do café da manhã ficasse mais farto, à altura do hotel.

Tivemos ainda uma surpresa maravilhosa: recebemos um upgrade de quarto e uma garrafa de Chandon para celebrarmos esse momento tão especial para nós. Foi um gesto de enorme delicadeza e que tornou a experiência ainda mais marcante. O hotel é belíssimo, com uma arquitetura clássica e uma atmosfera elegante, charmosa e atemporal.
