The hotel was nothing like the kind of hotel I thought I had chosen from the photos and the description on your site. It had very narrow dark windy stairs unsuitable for anyone who is even slightly claustrophobic or anyone with mobility issues. There was absolutely nowhere to sit in the “hotel” as the dining area had a timer the lights went off every 20 seconds or so. The so called outside terrace was in fact also not lighted and was in front of the three downstairs rooms so felt like we were sitting in someone else’s space. There was no air con at all not even a fan. No access to water not even a bottle of water left in the room as I would expect at the very least from a so called 3 star hotel. We hated it so much that even though we paid for 5 nights we checked out after 3 nights and cut our losses we have never had to do this before. The only thing that was good about it was the shower. The toilet which is separate was awful- we aren’t really tall people, but if we closed the door our knees were against the door. I did not sleep for the entire 3 nights that I stayed there. The location is okay as the beach was just across the road the only accurate information on your site. We were so disappointed with this “hotel”. I think it should be marketed as a hostel. The internet kept going on and off as well. Bus stop nearby to all the beaches. The only food option was breakfast but too expensive for us we went to a lovely cafe called the Forum 10 mins away. Hated our stay there

Bonjour, Bon accueil à la réception de l'hôtel. Réservation confirmée et règlements par Hotels.com pour 2 nuitées dans cet hôtel à Royan. Grande déception lorsque j'ai voulu monter mes bagages, ascenseur inexistant difficulté pour moi ayant une intervention récente. D'autre part pas de clim !! non indiquer également lors dans ma réservation. Situation de l'hôtel rues bruyantes la nuit fenêtres ouvertes ne pouvant pas pouvoir se servir d'un ventilateur à disposition trop bruyant ++ Je dénonce Hôtels.com de ne pas m'avoir indiquer dans les informations importantes et instructions spéciales PAS D'ASCENSEUR / PAS DE CLIM sur le mail de réservation confirmé avec le reçu de mon règlement. J'ai passé un séjour difficilement supportable dans une petite chambre plein soleil vue plages clim indispensable pour profiter de cet endroit, car le ventilateur avec recharge d'eau à disposition ne faisant pas assez de fraicheur dans la chambre plein soleil et de plus trop bruyant en regardant la télévision en soirée, où d'essayer de dormir en plus des bruits de la rue ++ Personnel agréable et serviable, chambre lit confortable et sanitaires propres. L'hôtel Rêve de Sable est situé face à la plage de la Grande Conche et non loin des commerces de centre-ville. L'accueil du premier jour était assez impersonnel : pas de : "Avez-vous fait bon voyage ?" "Voulez-vous un verre d'eau pour vous rafraîchir?" : un peu plus d'attention envers les clients serait la bienvenue. La chambre était petite et sans climatisation. Quand on ouvrait les fenêtres la nuit pour essayer d'avoir un peu d'air, il y avait le bruit de la sono sur la plage jusqu'à minuit. Le rafraîchisseur installé dans la chambre n'est pas efficace. Il manque la climatisation et un ventilateur. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent avec des produits frais et beaucoup de fruits de saison. La terrasse intérieure permet de prendre le petit-déjeuner à l'ombre et au frais. Sinon l'emplacement est très bien et l'hôtel propre mais pas du tout ventilé, ce qui a manqué en cette période de fortes chaleurs.
