As abordagens eram constantes, insistentes e incompatíveis com a tranquilidade que se espera de uma hospedagem de lazer, com o intuito de persuadir os hóspedes a participarem de palestras sobre a aquisição dessas "cotas". Verificou-se ainda que, diante da recusa dos hóspedes em ouvir a proposta comercial, o referido indivíduo passava a demonstrar evidente desaprovação e contrariedade por meio de expressões faciais e comportamento pouco cordial, gerando sensação de constrangimento e desconforto.
