Great location. Very close to Landingbrucks s- and ubahn. There is a REWE supermarket behind the hotel. Hotel was very clean, comfy, quiet and safe. Self- check in and out was very easy I celebrated my birthday in Hamburg and the staff surprised me with a gift! Try the Portugese restaurants on the same street. Highly recommend!!

The self check in went easy enough although had already done most of it online. Room was great with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Good location. Near to public transport, cafes and restaurants. There is also a well stocked Rewe supermarket nearly. The bells sounding from St Michael's church can be a little annoying in terms of noise. Large, will presented room that was well furnished and supplied with crockery, cutlery etc. The room had a good sized fridge, a microwave/grill, electric stove top, a kettle, Nespresso machine, and a toaster. Larger mugs for tea would have been helpful. There were only really two items that fell short. The bed was on the firm side for my preference and all the pillows were saggy. The check in/check out process was reasonably straightforward although you do need to remember your booking reference number to make things a little easier. I would would happily stay there again.

We loved our stay here, the staff was very friendly and serviceminded and even helped us move room when TV wasn’t working properly and the intial cleaning was a bit off. We had all the things we needed in the apartment, the AC was lovely and the location is great: lots of restaurants very close by and walking distance to most central locations. Having a Rewe 50 m around the corner was also great. The only thing that was a little less great was the that the reception is only staffed 9-17 because some things might need service after hours. Also a bit more frequent cleaning would have been nice, but overall a very pleasant stay.

Location of Clipper Boardinghouse-Hamburg Michel is excellent. Many eateries near the premise. It is also well connected to the nearby public transport at Landungsbruecken and especially near to the harbour and ferry for our trip to Heligoland. And the hotel was kind enough to allow us to leave our luggage for 3 days for our side trip to Heligoland. They even dropped our luggage into our room, especially since we could only re-checked in very late upon arrival from the island. Room is fine but we had some trouble managing the air-conditioning system, but we were just not familiar with the technology, nothing major.
