Fantastic place! Didn’t know what to expect, but the room was perfect, comfy and clean. The car park is locked at night, so very secure. Pub was gorgeous, with a fantastic menu and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Perfect stopover on our way to Scotland and will definitely stay again.

Superb, clean and tidy, I had an issue where I was ill and my initial booking was moved by a very helpful member of staff think it was Connor so special shout out to him. Car park was great too as it was locked securely behind a gate after closing time until morning. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Overall our stay was amazing, staff were courteous and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was clean, well presented with great amenities such as a fridge with fresh milk provided which was a nice touch. We also had dinner in the pub with the food being well priced and really tasty.

Generally good, room was clean looked nice. It was situated on apex of road so noise to be expected. TV was odd, no normal tv stations and the cable ones stopped working completely mid evening...assuming this was an internet issue, it was very weak. Staff seemed nice but didnt mention what to do with the key in the morning, it was all locked up, the main building so we had to leave it in the room. Lovely bath but no shower or attachment, fresh milk provided in mini fridge along with cerials and small kitchen were a plus.

Had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Horse & Farrier. Room was excellent with great facilities , Comfy bed , iron and ironing board , hairdryer and lovely big shower. full size fridge and wine glasses and a sink complete with fairy liquid, great if wanting to eat in as there was also knives and forks in a drawer. We had a meal on the second night which was really good. The staff were amazing ,really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. There is a bus stop directly outside and buses into the city centre are frequent and cheap(£2.40 single) Would stay again and recommend.

Recently refurbished, rooms were clean and fresh and kept the original features of the property. Bathroom was lovely and bath a great size although did miss the option of grabbing a quick shower. Bathroom needs a blind or curtain please otherwise stunning room.

Beautiful place, near busy junction only downfall but was quite tbh with windows closed. Other room noise- none at all. Shops across the street and dominos. Food was banging i had liver and onions, good prices. If staying in area for work, great stay! Could do with pint of milk in room as making your cereal from satchet milk is hard work lol. Deffo recommend for work.

Bedroom was clean and modern, bathroom hadn’t been cleaned with marks on the floor along with hairs and flies in sink. Hot water wouldn’t turn on in bath, sink and kitchen sink. Big tv but no tv remote to go with it. No bin in any room.
