We really enjoyed our time at the hotel. Great facilities and very helpful staff. Good choice of restaurants - all good, Hama was our favourite. Two downsides for us - Spa was excellent but very expensive - given location of hotel, not feasible to access alternatives. Also at this time of year, it can be windy which makes snorkelling and diving from hotel difficult. Overall - thoroughly recommend.

Overall, we had a happy stay at Alcazar hotel. We liked the assistance by the reception team, especially Mr. Mohamed Bade3 who was exceptionally welcoming and professional. We had higher expectations based on our last year's vacation at Steigenberger Pure Lifestyle. However, we still very much liked the attitude of all personnel at Steigenberger hotels.

Wonderful staff

A great hotel with a lot of amenities. The staff were very helpful and they always took the extra step to make us happy. We were amazed by the level of care at Zoherya restaurant; manager and staff are always smiling and welcoming, they even cooked our favorite desert for us that was not in the menu! I recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for luxury and perfect service.

Lovely propoerty on the Red Sea, beds are too firm for me. Good dining selections. Staff can seem a bit too relaxed when time is of the essence. The MividaSpa was a grand experience.

The property was beautiful, great facilities but, the food in the buffet was limited and not a lot of it, trying to get a drink was laughable. Whether by the pool or by in the main buffet it was impossible. Some of the staff were rude. To balance out the negatives the main bar service was superb and the food was better in the a la carte restaurants. Reputedly the second best hotel in Sharm. I wouldn’t rush back.

We enjoyed our 4-night stay at swim-up rooms and truly enjoyed having the pool right in our balcony. It offered great privacy. The hotel over all was nice and as luxurious as promised. The staff are nice and friendly. There is a large selection of food but it could be better. Note to people of color- the majority of guests are white and unfortunately many carry themselves with so much privilege. Not the fault of the hotel, but something to be aware

Amenities such as gym, spa and main restaurant are far from the room. Got lost trying to get back to the room after dinner: building numbers are not well let and signs are a bit confusing. Had difficulty getting dinner reservation. Spa is by reservation and then it is really very weak: sauna is not hot enough, steam room is hardly steaming and the jaccuzzi is cold and the jets are very weak.

Beautiful hotel, pictures do not do it credit. Staff were so helpful, however the food whilst lots of choice, was very average, notable exception was the Japanese which we enjoyed. However the seafood whilst the location on the beach perfect, gave me a nasty bout of food poisoning which was not ideal. Was I unlucky yes probably but be careful.

It was a great welcoming property with good children activities! The spa is quite over priced, resorts needs more supermarkets and little food stalls outside the premises. We had a slight issue during check in as there was high check in traffic and unfortunately the lady who checked us in barely spoke English and vaguely explained about the hotel, however later on we had a word with the general manager Mr. Moamen and he very patiently listened to us and assisted. Ahmed at the breakfast buffet was helpful and always happy to assist us.

We stayed at Steigenberger Alcazar all-inclusive hotel for 9 nights in early April. The hotel is clean, with spacious rooms and a stunning coral reef just off the pier — a clear highlight of the trip. However, several issues made the experience less enjoyable. There aren’t enough bathrooms across the resort grounds, which was inconvenient. The beach is shallow (1–2 feet) and not swimmable — you can only enter deep water at the end of a long pier. The snorkeling pier only opened around 10 a.m., even though mornings were calm and cooler — a missed opportunity for guests. Pools closed at 5 p.m. daily for chlorine cleaning, which left a strong smell and could have been scheduled later without disrupting guests. Service was minimal. At the buffet, no one checked if we needed drinks or utensils. No waiters by the pool. Towels could only be exchanged through room service, which wasn’t convenient. À la carte restaurant staff didn’t know the menu well — e.g., confusing sake with soy sauce. Descriptions were also off: a “seaweed salad” was mostly carrots, and “salmon on beets” came without beets. The spa felt neglected — low on towels and only one of four steam rooms working. While the reef and natural beauty were amazing, poor service and puzzling management decisions really held this place back. With better hospitality and attention to detail, this resort could be great. For now, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und gediegen. Die Gebäude sind von außen saniert. Die Bäder, Türen und die Klimaanlage sind leider zwanzig Jahre alt. Die Türen sind undicht, die Beleuchtung im Bad ist kalt und unpraktisch und die Klimaanlage ist die lauteste Klimaanlage die wir jemals in einem Hotel vorgefunden haben. Die a la carte Restaurant sind eine gute Abwechslung zum Hauptrestaurant in dem es leider an Tageslicht mangelt und somit wie eine Halle wirkt. Besonders das italienische a la carte restaurant hat tolle Spaghetti Carbonara und ein gutes Risotto. Wie häufig in Ägypten gilt auch hier für empfindliche europäische Mägen Finger weg vom Salatbuffet. Leider ist der Hygiene-Standard nicht der selbe wie in Europa. Die Mitarbeiter haben zwar Gummihandschuhe an, fassen damit aber alles an. Auch die Nachbefüllung des Buffets wird mit der Hand anstatt mit geeignetem Besteck erledigt. Brötchen und Bretzeln waren teilweise vom Vortag. Das frische Suaerteigbrot schmeckt hervorragend. Käse und Wurst nicht mit Europa vergleichbar. Grundsätzlich sind alle ägyptischen, indische und türkischen Gerichte sehr schmackhaft und durchgekocht. Im gesamten Ressort gibt es keine automatischen Türen. Sodass alle Gäste alle Türgriffe anfassen müssen, das gilt dann auch bei den Griffen beim Buffet. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und bemüht den Touristen einen westlichen Service zu bieten.
