The unit was not what was advertised. Owner used pictures of a different unit and blamed Expedia is the one that used different pictures of more than one units. What was advertised was open concept with panoramic windows with a view in the living room/ large kitchen. Unfortunately, what I got was not an open concept. You open the door and see a huge bookshelf unit as a room divider to make another “bedroom” in the living room.
When I confronted the owner how all the pictures that were used on Expedia are from one unit, owner changed her tune and said that specifically unit that is shown in the pictures is “under construction” so it is unavailable.
We accepted we were just unlucky with this owner. The place wasn’t what we were expecting but it was clean. Main reason that we got the unit was because it has a washer/dryer. Unfortunately, the dryer didn’t work. After couple of cleaners /maintenance workers came by, the issue was not solved. I contacted the owner. She replied back asking for more details on how the dryer was not working properly. When I replied back with videos of how the dryer session doesn’t start, I never got a replied back from the owner again.
Overall, the unit is fine. Just don’t bait and switch with pictures of a unit that is not available. Also , fix the dryer if it is advertised that the unit has a washer/dryer.
