6/10 Good

It was simple room. Bed was comfortable. BIGGEST ISSUE - no air conditioning, despite being promoted. During our stay in Spain, we stayed at 4 hotels. All had air conditioning. When we call the front desk, they told us that it is not available during "winter months". But the temperature during the day was 25 degrees Celsius. We had a south facing room - it was hot. Also - this is NOT close to the airport. The Uber drive was 60 euros - this was also related to abnormally high demand. There are better hotels...

The Hotel is part of Hotels.com VIP program. That got us free parking and a free bottle of wine (plus great rate). This was our first stay in Spain or Europe. They set the bar high with a super clean hotel, Very nice staff. It has a great bar and restaurant.

My 2nd stay at this hotel. Great service. Very good size rooms with comfy beds & pillows. Very clean. Love the outdoor area. Was looked after by all staff. But would like to mention Rashid as he was so welcoming and nothing was to much for him. Will stay again 👍

The property and the room was fine. However, I selected this hotel because the amenities included laundry facilities. Alas, they didn’t exist. Otherwise a good hotel.

Nice stay

It’s a purpose built hotel. The lobby is way nicer than the rooms. The sink in our washroom was not draining well so the staff changed our room. This was a nice gesture. The city center is accessible from here. It’s far from the center so make sure to look into your transportation if you are a tourist.

6/10 Good

We recently stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham Madrid Getafe and had a mixed experience. Upon arrival, there was a check-in error — we were given a room that had not yet been cleaned or prepared. It was disappointing to walk in and find it in such a state. However, the receptionist was very apologetic and offered us a complimentary lunch and drink as compensation which we appreciated. The room itself, once we were properly accommodated, was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated — definitely one of the better aspects of our stay. Unfortunately, the breakfast provided was not generous with very limited options compared to what one might expect from a hotel of this category. Location-wise, this hotel is around 35 minutes from Madrid’s city center. That was our mistake in booking — we should have stayed somewhere more central. Being so far from the heart of the city ended up costing us in taxi fares and the surrounding area is quite lifeless, made up mostly of logistics warehouses with very little to see or do nearby. For those wanting to explore Madrid easily and enjoy vibrant surroundings, I would recommend choosing something more centrally located.

David at the front desk was a great help with my stay as I brought my service dog and he made things great. I spoke with the manager this morning and received an explanation of what happened and enjoyed my overnight stay and would return if I'm traveling through Madrid again.
